A Better Day
Today was great! I woke up feeling so refreshed and I actually felt really productive today!
I got up really early, went shopping for Mom's birthday gift and food for her party, then went grocery shopping, got gas, and cleaned out my car! By then I was ready for a nap. I had a great 2 hour nap, then put together Adam's bath tub and high chair. I tested the bath tub and it is an AWESOME bath tub! It has bubbles, a shower, and a whirlpool. The shower is SO gentle and I absolutely love the infant bath seat. He's gonna have a blast, once he gets used to them. LOL. I hear all babies hate them at first. But once he gets older, I can see him loving those bubbles. SO cute. It looks like I will be bathing him in the kitchen, because the tub is big and luckily one counter fits it perfect. I've even found the perfect hideaway place for it when we're not using it. It's not really hidden, like at all, but it still works. LOL. His high chair is also adorable. Two cute little hippos. *Awws*
I also learned how to use my video camera. Well, almost. Turns out the memory card is the wrong size so Mom and I are going to go talk to the tech peeps at Best Buy on Sunday. I look forward to videoing all his precious moments. And I also did some research tonight on how to convert hd video to dvds so I can make copies for my family. I purchased the software and can't wait to learn it! I love computer stuff!!!
I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Kelly is coming in tomorrow morning for the shower and she will stay with me for the weekend. C will join us for some of the activities, hopefully cause I KNOW SHE NEEDS IT! You reading this, C?! That's right, I'm talking to YOU! LOL!!! We are doing brunch at Cracker Barrel (if Kelly is ok with that place) and then swimming. Saturday is the shower and then Jeana, Christina, Kelly and I are going to tackle the nursery after that. I am SO excited about seeing that room come together.
I am getting frustrated with my search for a glider. I'm having very little luck online and the ones you buy in store you have to put together, and we know I'm not good at that stuff so I'm not sure what to do. I need to figure it out soon.
Sunday afternoon, we're having Mom's birthday party and then the fun begins! Well, I guess the fun begins AT her party haha, but after that we are going to spend my gift cards on the stuff we don't have. I am REALLY excited and a bit overwhelmed at that! Should be fun, though.
So yeah, I'm still feeling overwhelmed at the to do list but at least today I got SOMETHING done. Making progress, slowly but surely!!!
